Lydia Mastrangelo (aka Lyd) is a Baltimore-based aspiring character designer inspired by all things burlesque, drag, horror, and camp. Lyd's goal is to create characters that embody femininity, queerness, and absurdity while also reflecting the joy, celebration, and bravery it takes to be different and weird.

In the words of Baltimore's infamous drag queen Divine,
 
"The constant horrible things happening in the world, including natural disasters, people need to laugh and have a good time to let loose. If people find drag shocking, then perhaps they need to be shocked."
